Licence terms

Prism Pro is a one-time purchase: a perpetual licence with no subscription, no account, and no server involved. These are the terms, in plain language.

What you may not do

Your data

Prism has no server, no accounts, and no analytics. Your spreadsheets are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to us or anyone else — a claim you can verify yourself. Because we never have your data, there is nothing for us to store, sell, lose, or be compelled to disclose.

Data you choose to analyse

Prism doesn't inspect what's in your file — it's a general-purpose review tool for any spreadsheet, which means it has no way to refuse one containing regulated data (payment card numbers, health records, government IDs, and similar). Loading such a file into Prism carries the same responsibility as opening it in Excel on the same machine: nothing leaves your device either way, but you remain responsible for complying with whatever laws, standards, or policies apply to that data (including PCI DSS, health-privacy law, and your employer's or client's confidentiality obligations).

One practical difference worth knowing: Prism can save your workspace to your browser's local storage so you can resume later (see what Prism stores, and where). If you're working with something especially sensitive, use New file or delete the workspace from the upload screen when you're done, rather than leaving it saved.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Stripe as merchant of record: Stripe processes your payment, collects any applicable tax, and issues your receipt and tax invoice. Prism grants the licence. We see your name and email (to issue your key) and never your card details.

Refunds

14 days, no questions — see the refund policy.

The legal minimum

Prism is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it is free of errors, and our total liability for any claim connected with Prism is capped at the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that consumer law (including the Australian Consumer Law) does not allow to be excluded. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
